6th Grade Team “Holds On” the Day Before Break (VIDEO)
It’s the day before Thanksgiving break. Students are restless, and teachers have been giving their all since the beginning of the school year. So, how do teachers keep the peace and encourage students to hold on for one more day? They jump on the social media bandwagon and create a fun, Tik Tok-worthy video!
Lansing Middle School’s 6th grade teaching team gathered together early Tuesday morning, well before student arrival. After a few practice rounds, the team recorded a routine set to the Wilson Phillips tune, “Hold On”, which was originally released in 1990. The team had a great time putting this little project together, sharing a lot of laughs to go along with their synchronized movements.
The video features Amanda Thomas, Rachel Szmed, DeDe Schultz, Tiffany Simmons, DeeDee Wiley, Alisha Holyfield, Cheryl Borgeson, Kathy Baughman, with Pecos Miller behind the camera.
The team wishes a happy Thanksgiving to all Lansing students and families!
