What does your vote mean?
On the November 7th ballot, Tri-Center community members will be asked to vote on 2 Public Measures directly affecting the school. This is the link to those measures as you will see them on your ballot.
As Tri-Center’s Superintendent, I cannot tell you how to vote, but I can tell you what your vote means to Tri-Center’s students.
A “Yes” vote means:
- No additional tax
- Continued investment on our buildings, school grounds and sports complex without raising taxes
- Continued investment in our bus fleet so we can provide safe transportation.
- Continued investment in technology for our students
- Updated HVAC systems which will save the district money in the long run
- Facilities that are well-maintained
A “No” vote means:
- Deferred repairs on school facilities
- Technology and transportation purchases placed on hold
- Deterioration of buildings, school grounds and sports complex
- Inability to make timely safety and security improvements
- We will search for another option so we can keep moving forward for our students. A different option could be a Bond Issue that will definitely increase taxes.
