Lansing Boys' Swim Team Defends UKC Title
Congratulations to our Lansing High School Boys' Swim Team for successfully defending their UKC title with a convincing 43-point margin over second-place Basehor.
"For the first time since UKC started, the traveling championship trophy briefly left Lansing High School," said Assistant Coach David Bresser. "It was out of the building for about 5 hours and safely made the trip back to the building."
Lansing led from start to finish, winning 9 of the 11 swimming events. Zach Mendez (JR) was named Swimmer of the Year. He broke the school record in the 200 Individual Medley while Schaffer Gibson (FR) broke the 100 Backstroke record.
