Computer Science
Computer Science Interest Based students took a field trip to IGNITE Pathways. We learned all about the robot designed and programmed by Cash B. & Joseph B. The students also learned about the robotics competition from Justin Esser and Joseph.
Cash showed us how to drive the robot, and the students had an opportunity to drive the robot around the Community Room at the CREW Center. Cash also talked about the different parts of the robot, cost, mobility, and their most recent competition in Kansas City.
Cash explained that they used LabView for the programming of the robot, but want to use C++ and Java next year, as there are more people familiar with those coding languages versus Lab View, should they run into a glitch with the computer programming.
It was an amazing opportunity to encourage young Tigers in the field of computer science!
