Lansing USD469 Celebrates Principals on National Principal Appreciation Day
In honor of Principal Appreciation Day, Superintendent Dan Wessel visited each building to recognize the hard work and dedication of our Lansing USD469 principals. He brought gift bags filled with snacks to show his appreciation for all they do.
We would like to take a moment to acknowledge each of our principals individually. Becca Dalton is the principal of Early Childhood, where she leads a team of dedicated educators who provide a strong foundation for our youngest learners. Jennifer Kolb is the principal of Lansing Elementary School, where she works tirelessly to ensure that every student receives a high-quality education in a safe and supportive environment. Martin Altieri is the principal of Lansing Intermediate School, where he leads a team of teachers who are passionate about helping students develop the skills they need to succeed in middle school and beyond. Brooks Jenkins is the principal of Lansing Middle School, where he fosters a culture of academic excellence and helps students develop into responsible, caring members of the community. And finally, Dr. Alan Penrose is the principal of Lansing High School, where he prepares our students for the next phase of their lives by providing them with rigorous academic programs and opportunities to explore their interests.
To all of our principals, we want to say thank you. Thank you for your leadership, your dedication, and your unwavering commitment to our students. You are the backbone of our schools, and we are grateful for all that you do.
