Important Back to School Information for the 2023-24 School Year
Calendar Information
The first day of school for students is Tuesday, August 22. The 2023-24 District Calendar can be found here. The district calendar provides an overview of the school calendar such as when school is in session and when the district is closed for breaks, professional development, etc.
This year, the district has transitioned to using a google calendar for everyday events and activities. This calendar is updated on a daily basis with school happenings. You may access the district google calendar here. It is also found on the homepage of our website and the district app.
New Student Enrollment
New students may enroll for the upcoming school year by contacting our district registrar via email at lsanders@cassville.k12.mo.us or via phone at 417.847.2221.
Food Service Information
Breakfast and lunch menus, meal pricing and free/reduced meal applications can be found on our website by clicking here. Completion of the free/reduced meal application by all families is appreciated. Completing the application helps our district in other areas beyond free/reduced meal prices. With completed applications, our district receives increased state and federal funding, funding for teachers, technology and grant opportunities, scholarships for students, tuition assistance and reduced fees for activities.
School Based Mercy Clinic
In partnership with Mercy, the Cassville School Based Mercy Clinic will be open Monday-Friday, 7-10:30 a.m., beginning Tuesday, August 22.
The clinic is located south of the JC Duncan Gymnasium in the back of the gravel parking lot and will be open on days that students attend school.
District Communications Tools
It is vital that parents and guardians provide up-to-date and current contact information including an email address and telephone number to their student’s building level office.
Families must opt-in to receive text messaging from the district. You can find the link to sign-up here. When signing up to receive text alerts, it is important to select the appropriate building you would like to receive text messages from. Families may sign up to receive text alerts from multiple buildings. If your child has recently moved buildings, you will want to make sure you are signed up for their new building.
Download the free district app by searching “Cassville R-IV Schools” in the App Store or Google Play.
Follow the district on Facebook and Instagram by searching “Cassville Public Schools” on both social media platforms.
